Refund Policy

How cancellations, subscription renewals, unused credits, duplicate charges, and service problems are handled by RealDubbing.

1. Our approach

We want charges to be clear and problems to be resolved fairly. This policy applies to purchases made directly from RealDubbing. It does not limit any mandatory consumer right or remedy available under the law where you live.

RealDubbing sells access to digital services, including premium text-to-speech generation, credits, and subscriptions. Some cancellation rights can change once digital content has been supplied or a digital service has begun at your request. We assess requests according to the purchase, usage, service outcome, and applicable law.

2. Requesting a refund

Email support@realdubbing.com from the address linked to your account and include:

  • the order or invoice number;
  • the purchase date and payment provider;
  • the reason for the request; and
  • any relevant task ID, screenshot, or error message.

Please contact us promptly. If a statutory cancellation period applies, submit the request within that period. For other issues, contacting us within 14 days of the charge helps us investigate and resolve it quickly.

3. When a refund is normally available

Subject to applicable law, we will normally approve or offer an appropriate remedy for:

  • a duplicate or clearly unauthorised charge after reasonable verification;
  • a payment taken after a cancellation had already become effective;
  • a purchase that was charged but never credited to the correct account;
  • a material technical fault attributable to RealDubbing that prevented the paid feature from being supplied and that we could not resolve within a reasonable time;
  • unused credits or an unused new subscription cancelled within a legally applicable cooling-off period, taking account of any service already supplied;
  • any other situation where a refund, repeat performance, price reduction, or other remedy is required by law.

We may offer replacement credits or repeat generation when that provides a faster and appropriate remedy, but you do not have to accept store credit where the law gives you a right to a monetary refund.

4. Used credits and completed generation

Credits consumed by a successfully completed generation are normally non-refundable because the underlying digital service and provider capacity have already been supplied. Failed premium tasks are designed to return the related credits automatically. If that does not happen, contact us with the task ID.

We may deduct the value of service already provided from a refund only where applicable law permits it. This section does not remove rights relating to faulty digital content or a service not provided with reasonable care and skill.

5. Subscriptions

Cancelling a subscription stops future renewal; it does not normally refund the current paid period. You can continue using included access until the end of that period unless the account is suspended for a valid reason or applicable law requires a different outcome.

If you cannot find the cancellation control, contact us before the renewal date. We will use the timestamp of a valid cancellation request when investigating a renewal dispute.

6. Items normally not refundable

Unless law requires otherwise, we normally cannot refund:

  • credits already used for successful generation;
  • dissatisfaction caused only by voice preference, pronunciation, punctuation, or input choices when the service performed as described;
  • purchases made through or charged by a custom API provider, because that provider contracts and bills directly with you;
  • loss of browser-only projects or history after browser storage was cleared;
  • an account suspended or terminated for serious misuse, to the extent the paid service had already been supplied.

7. Processing approved refunds

Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method wherever possible. We aim to instruct the payment provider promptly, usually within 5 to 10 business days after approval. Your bank or provider may take additional time to display the refund. We do not charge a refund fee.

If the original method cannot receive a refund, we will contact you about a lawful alternative. Currency conversion or bank charges outside our control may cause the final displayed amount to differ.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before starting a chargeback so we have an opportunity to fix the problem. A chargeback does not remove amounts lawfully owed, and we may restrict an account while a payment dispute is investigated. We will not penalise you merely for exercising a lawful payment or consumer right.
