Privacy Policy

How RealDubbing collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you use our text-to-speech and dialogue tools.

Last updated: 2026-07-11

1. Who we are

RealDubbing is operated by Champagne Tech Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16816064, with its registered office at 5 Brayford Square, London, England, E1 0SG ("RealDubbing", "we", "us", or "our").

For data-protection questions or requests, contact support@realdubbing.com. Champagne Tech Ltd is the controller of personal data described in this policy unless another party is identified as the controller.

2. Scope

This policy applies to realdubbing.com, RealDubbing accounts, our free text-to-speech tools, premium voice generation, the Dialogue workspace, payments, and support. A third-party website or service you choose to connect has its own privacy terms.

3. Information we collect

We collect only the information reasonably needed to provide, secure, and improve RealDubbing:

  • Account information: name, email address, profile image, authentication provider, encrypted password credentials where email login is used, account status, and session records.
  • Voice-generation content: text, dialogue, voice selection, speed, pitch, volume, instructions, model settings, language, and related request metadata that you submit to generate audio.
  • Premium task records: task status, provider and model, credit usage, request options, timestamps, error information, and generated result references. Premium generation may retain submitted text in your task record so that we can operate, support, and account for the service.
  • Data stored in your browser: recent audio, TTS history, Dialogue projects, favourite voices, theme and language preferences, cookie choices, and custom API provider details. Custom provider API keys are designed to remain in your browser and requests are sent directly from your browser to the endpoint you choose; RealDubbing does not intentionally receive those keys.
  • Transaction information: plan or credit package, order and subscription identifiers, payment status, currency, amount, invoices, and limited billing metadata. Payment processors handle payment credentials; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Support and communications: messages, attachments, contact details, and other information you provide when asking for help or communicating with us.
  • Technical and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring pages, requested URLs, timestamps, security events, diagnostic data, and feature interactions.
  • Cookie and analytics information: essential cookies and, with your consent where required, analytics or customer-support identifiers. See our Cookie Policy for details.

Please do not submit confidential personal data, biometric identifiers, protected health information, financial account details, or other sensitive information in text-to-speech content unless you have a lawful reason and appropriate safeguards.

4. How we use information and our lawful bases

We use personal data to:

  • create and secure accounts, provide free and premium voice generation, save task state, deliver audio, and administer credits or subscriptions — to perform our contract with you;
  • process orders, keep accounting records, prevent fraud, and meet tax, regulatory, and legal requirements — to perform our contract and comply with legal obligations;
  • diagnose failures, enforce usage limits, protect RealDubbing and its users, answer support requests, and improve reliability and usability — for our legitimate interests, balanced against your rights;
  • send service messages, security notices, receipts, and important policy updates — to perform our contract or comply with legal obligations;
  • run optional analytics, marketing, or customer-support tools — with consent where consent is required. You can change this choice through Cookie Settings.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use your submitted scripts to train our own generative model. A voice provider may process submitted content under its own contractual terms, as explained below.

5. Voice and AI service providers

RealDubbing routes content only to providers needed for the feature you choose:

  • The free text-to-speech tool sends the text, selected voice, and voice settings through our server to Microsoft speech-related services to produce audio.
  • Premium voice generation sends the text, instructions, selected voice, and settings to the OpenAI or OpenAI-compatible provider configured for the service.
  • A custom API provider is chosen and configured by you. Requests, including the API credential, are made directly from your browser to that endpoint. That provider's privacy terms apply.

Providers may process content in other countries and may retain request data according to the account and service configuration that applies to us or to you. Avoid submitting content you are not authorised to disclose.

6. When we share information

We may disclose relevant data to:

  • infrastructure, hosting, database, storage, security, email, and support providers that help us run RealDubbing;
  • Microsoft and the configured premium voice/AI provider when you request speech generation;
  • payment providers such as Stripe, Creem, PayPal, Alipay, or WeChat Pay when that provider is enabled and you choose it;
  • authentication providers such as Google or GitHub when you choose social sign-in;
  • analytics or customer-support providers only when configured and permitted by your cookie choice;
  • professional advisers, auditors, insurers, courts, regulators, law enforcement, or public authorities where reasonably necessary and lawful;
  • a buyer, investor, or successor in connection with a proposed or completed financing, merger, reorganisation, or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection safeguards.

We require service providers acting on our behalf to use personal data only for authorised purposes and to protect it appropriately.

7. International transfers

RealDubbing and its providers may process data outside your country, including outside the United Kingdom or European Economic Area. Where required, we use recognised safeguards such as adequacy regulations, approved contractual clauses, and supplementary security measures.

8. Retention

Retention depends on the type of information and why we need it:

  • browser-only projects, histories, favourites, and custom provider settings remain on your device until you clear them, reset the product, or remove browser data;
  • account and session data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period afterwards for security, dispute handling, and legal compliance;
  • order, subscription, invoice, and accounting records are retained for the period required by tax, company, and financial laws;
  • premium task and support records are retained only as long as reasonably needed to deliver the feature, investigate issues, prevent abuse, maintain accurate credit records, and meet legal obligations;
  • security logs and backups are deleted or overwritten on a rolling schedule unless they must be preserved for an incident or legal claim.

We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer identifies you.

9. Security

We use measures appropriate to the nature of the data, including encrypted network connections, access controls, password hashing, secret management, rate limiting, and operational monitoring. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Keep your account password and any custom API key confidential, and contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a portable copy of your personal data, and to withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

To exercise a right, email support@realdubbing.com. We may need to verify your identity. If you are in the United Kingdom, you may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

11. Cookies and browser storage

Essential storage supports sign-in, security, language, theme, and core product state. Optional analytics and customer-support technologies are used only after the choice presented in our consent interface where required. You can reopen Cookie Settings from the site footer. Clearing browser storage may also remove locally saved audio and Dialogue projects.

12. Children

RealDubbing is not designed for children who cannot lawfully consent to an online service. If you are below the minimum age in your country, use RealDubbing only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal data without appropriate permission.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our service or legal obligations change. We will post the revised version and update the date above. For material changes, we will provide an additional notice where reasonably required.
